Monday, Pope Benedict XVI will officially join huge numbers of people around the globe by launching their own Twitter account. The formal announcement is set for a press conference Monday morning for the Vatican with Catholic and Twitter officials.

A Vatican official informed CNN the pope are going to be composing the tweets to the new account himself. For your first tweet from the actual account, the pope will even press the button to send the tweet himself, but after that some others will send the twitting on his behalf.
