Notorious B. I. G. autopsy now released, 15 years after his death.


The Los angeles County Coroner's Office released the autopsy report of Christopher Wallace, aka This Notorious B. I. H. or Biggie Smalls, on Friday,After more than 15 years following the rapper who was shot.

The 23-page report offers fresh information regarding his death, which remains on the list of city's best-known unsolved homicides.

Wallace, twenty four, was shot and killed early on March 9, 1997, seeing that he was leaving a music party. He was riding in the front passenger seat of a Chevrolet Suburban when a different vehicle pulled up adjacent to his and someone popped fire.

Wallace was hit 4 times, according by the autopsy report.

The fatal bullet entered his right hip and ripped by means of several organs, including the liver, heart and lung. Another bullets struck Wallace with his left forearm, the back and his eventually left thigh.

They took him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he found its way to full cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead soon there after 1 a. m.

During his death, he had no drugs or booze in his system. Wallace seemed to be 6 feet, 2 inches wide tall, weighed 395 lbs and had a skin image on his right forearm in which read: "The Lord is My Light and my own Salvation... "

His slaying provides long stumped investigators.

Los angeles police and the FBI both looked at the case but produced no arrests.

Wallace was killed just half a year after his former good friend and rap rival Tupac Shakur seemed to be gunned down in Vegas, leading some to consider both shootings were associated with a so-called rap conflict between East Coast and West Coast hip-hop artists and their record companies.

Shakur recorded for Marion called "Suge" Knight's Los Angeles-based Death Row Records, while Wallace seemed to be signed with New York-based Awful Boy Entertainment.
