Over 6, 000 Units Of Toyota Prius Sold After 6 months.

Toyota Engine Company (TMC) has said that its Prius Plug-in model has sold over 6, 000 models, after six months in this market.

Another Prius user said the Prius helps him postpone the engagement with the gasoline engine during his commute and greater efficiency.

“My commute in EV Mode is early in the morning with light traffic, so I am able to drive most than it at 35 mph, timing all the street lights to reduce end and go.

“My engine typically doesn’t engage until I am over the Verrazano Bridge.

“The method shows a 120 mpg mixed average for my commute. I've put 2, 500 miles for the car thus far, with a typical fuel economy of 69 mpg, which is the result of blended operation that is about 30 % EV and 70 per dime hybrid, ” the customer was quoted to own said.
