Search engines launches another brand-new Chromebook from Acer.

Some jaws hit the bottom when Google released its latest Samsung Chromebook with the amazing price involving $249. Well, they've just one-upped that price with an Acer model in which hits the magical cost of $199. The brand new Samsung model kept the purchase price down by getting smaller the battery and tossing in the ARM processor, nevertheless this Acer product is all Intel nonetheless. The spec page lists an "Intel Key Processor" — still for being determined which product — 11. 6-inch screen and a 320GB hard drive combined with the same 100GB Search engines Drive offer. It is just a bit thicker and heavier as opposed to Samsung at 1-inch in addition to 3lbs, but offers more ports as a swap. It has 3x HARDWARE, HDMI, VGA, ethernet and a Kensington lock slot machine.

If you'll recall returning to the previous iterations involving Chromebooks from 2011, the Acer product was the cheaper with the two to start, but we're still left wondering how the purchase price can get so low on these kind of new models. Seems like one place where they've scale back is the battery, as the rated life is usually a not-so-impressive 3. 5 several hours, compared to that with the Samsung at 6. 5.

The brand new Chromebook goes available tomorrow in the actual Google Play Store, as well while other retailers for example Best Buy which are carrying current Chromebooks.
